I didn't think I'd actually make it back to this site to post about some things going on in my life, but I'm here. I decided to make this blog entry about a new book I'm reading about making jewelry. I recently took a class on making necklaces and different types of earrings. Originally I browsed around on etsy and would try to recreate the different pieces that I thought were cute. I eventually came across a website called Liz Nicole Jewelry that sells personalized jewelry. Their pieces are really cute so I decided to buy a few and learn how to make them on my own.
When they were shipped, I opened the box really quickly and was really excited about the new jewelry that just arrived.
Are you a big fan of jewelry? Well I am! I'm going to be using this to talk about custom jewelry! I'm still learning how to use this website builder so give me a few days to learn how to use it before I post anything useful!
The 4th of July was so much fun! My friends from school had a barbeque with a margarita machine, steaks, chicken, and even crawfish! They also had plenty of the Budweiser American can they have every year around July. I was pretty excited about 4th of July this year because it has rained enough to be able to shoot fireworks off and I absolutely love fireworks. We had black cats, bottle rockets, artillery shells, chasers, roman candles, sparklers, and lots of different other ones. After we shot off all the ones we had, we went to lake Austin and watched all the fireworks that Austin was firing off and it was so awesome! When I was there I met a really cute girl that owns a jewelry store called Liz Nicole and she was really cool. She told me about all the jewelry they sell. Pretty cool stuff. I wore my new bracelet and necklace that I got from the internet and all my friends picked out a park at Zilker park and we drank beer, wine, and relaxed on the lawn. This was probably one of the best 4th of July’s I’ve ever had. Last year, all we did was go float the river and it was SO crowded that it wasn’t even fun. Also, last year everybody on the river got so drunk that there were too many fights and it made it not fun anymore. Another fun thing about the holiday this year is that I took Thursday and Friday off from work so I got a 5 day weekend, which I desperately needed. After the fireworks we went to the bar Kung Fu, and I love that place because all of the old video games you can play there. Everyone was in a good mood while there so it made it so much fun. My friend was in such a good mood that he paid for my cab! This will definitely be a 4th of July to put in the record books.
